St Helens VFG asset management was established in January 2006 and is owned by Lanterne Strategic Investors (50%) and VFG Asset Management (50%).

St Helens VFG is an institutionally mandated asset manager investing in the ASX100 universe in a long only style. The investment philosophy is to add value by identifying and investing in companies where earnings and the growth of earnings are mispriced by the market.

The investment style is described as ‘Value For Growth’, which has both a top down and bottom up focus which allows us to exploit the inefficiencies across the entire market, and at all stages of the economic cycle. At different stages of the market cycle, we may have a value or growth bias depending on the relative valuation of value and growth stocks.
